Innovation in support of solidarity

Art dans la Cité

Founded in 1999, Art dans la Cité is dedicated to bringing contemporary visual arts into hospitals. Since 2010, Art dans la Cité has shifted its focus to utilizing digital tools and creations to bring art into more intimate spaces, including patient rooms. The Illuminart project, backed by the Keyrus Foundation, emerged in 2014 following successful trials in hospital settings. Illuminart is an innovative, immersive, and interactive device for projecting artistic and digital content. It has demonstrated numerous cognitive benefits, reducing patients' anxiety and loneliness, alleviating their pain, and promoting overall well-being and tranquility. The Keyrus Foundation supports this humanitarian initiative, with the goal of making it an integral part of tomorrow's hospitals, enhancing the daily lives of both patients and healthcare professionals.
